Marco's Update #6 - Early June 2021
Yeah so we heard you like technical difficulties so we put technical difficulties in your technical difficulties
1) Music Server Charts
Quick recap on the updates that happened:
- Most of the bugs that have appeared were fixed
- Slash commands have been released
- We've moved to a VPS with more performance
A few updates are still planned, more on those at a later point though.
2) Technical Difficulties
A sudden outage of our dedicated server occured on June 2nd. We still do not know the specific reason, so we've decided to take the opportunity to switch to another server. Our old server was HDD-based, which also helps explaining the recent performance issues with DBL Statistics. The new one will be similar to the one that DBL Statistics is currently located on, so you should expect similar performance improvements compared to last month.
Over the next few days/weeks, you'll see most of the current projects move servers. This may cause temporary outages for some of them, but I'll write a message about them once they'll occur.
The issues have caused a loss of about a week's worth of data for DBL Statistics since we pulled data off of a backup instead of the database directly. I'll look into potentially restoring that data, but won't promise anything for now.
3) Support us
Something I wanna bring up again, that probably has been forgotten for a bit: You can support us via direct donations or Patreon! While we haven't really been to provide any kind of perks (other than a role :weirdchamp:), I'll be evaluating potential perks and patreon adjustments over the next few weeks.
Any money we'll recieve from donations will go directly towards maintenance costs such as servers etc.

This server has been kinda inactive for some time but I'd like to bring some activity back.
