Marco's Update #1 - November 2020

Hey! I've decided to make monthly updates like this which will recap everything that has happened in the last month. I'll try to keep them short (or at least below Discord's character limits) but it should give you a good overview of what has been going on.

DBL Statistics has come out of beta!

We've finally (mostly) finished DBL Statistics and are pretty happy with it! There's still a few things that we're going to be implementing, but most functionality has been integrated.
The old site and API will shut down and start redirecting you onto the new domain (https://dblstatistics.com/) on January 1st 2021. This includes both dbl.marcorennmaus.de and dbl.marcorennmaus.tk (tfw I wanted to shut down .tk a year ago but never did). I will be posting another reminder during the final week.

Furthermore, we've launched a Patreon! While we haven't been able to offer anything yet, all money from patreon will go towards hosting for DBL Stats and other projects we've planned for the future! If you want to become a patreon, then go to: https://patreon.com/dblstatistics

DBL Statistics Python Library

Arthur has been working on a Python Library, which you may remember from earlier this year. He just released a version for our new API, so consider checking it out here: https://pypi.org/project/dblstats/

What's planned for December?

December is planned to become a pretty good month as I will be planning to resume working on multiple projects, these will mostly be unfinished ones and chances are - if you've known me for some time - that you've already interacted with some of them! However, there's also going to be a brand new project :eyes:. I'll be sharing more updates about these projects throughout the upcoming month so stay tuned for that!
