TopStats.gg: The Future of DBL Statistics

Today we've announced the future of DBL Statistics! Luke, Xignotic and I will be working on a new version, which will also include a rebrand to TopStats!

The History

DBL Statistics is a site that I had launched in 2019, which served thousands of users statistics of over 45.000 bots listed on Top.gg! Luke and Xignotic had joined the team in 2020 and together we've built DBL Stats V2.

What's happening?

You can find the details in TopStats' blog post here. But the gist is that the old infrastructure has become difficult to maintain. By seperating our nearly 10 billion datapoints into a dedicated timeseries database and switching the frontend to React, we expect to be able to much more easily provide new features and a lot faster site.

For TopStats, we'll also be joined by Nanoqoi, who will be helping us out with site design!
